From first measure to final fit.

Every job runs the same way, so you always know what happens next.

  1. The opening gets measured properly, and the ground and pillars get checked. Most gate problems start here, not in the welding.

  2. You agree the style, sizes, finish and price. Nothing gets cut until you're happy with what you're getting.

  3. The steel is cut, set up square and welded, and the joints are cleaned up before the finish goes on.

  4. It's hung and fitted on site, then adjusted until it swings and closes the way it should.

Step 1 of 3

What do you need?

Good to know before you ring.

What do you need to give me a price?

A photo of the space, rough measurements and an idea of what you like. A picture of something you've seen helps too. Anything complicated may need a visit before a firm price.

Which finish should I go for?

We can finish your gate or railings to suit your budget. For the longest-lasting result and full rust protection, we recommend galvanising and powder coating.

Should I plan for an automatic gate?

We don't automate gates ourselves, but we work closely with companies that do, so it's always an option. If you think you might want one, say so at the start. Powered gates have safety requirements under I.S. EN 12453, and they're easier to plan for from day one.

How long does a gate take?

Usually about two weeks from when we measure up to when the gate is installed in your driveway.

Can a swing gate go on a sloped drive?

Sometimes. If the drive rises behind the gate it can catch, so it may need more clearance, a rising hinge or a sliding gate instead. A photo of the drive helps.

Can you weld on site?

Yes. We do mobile welding on site, and bigger repairs are done in the workshop, depending on the size of the job. Tell us what's needed and send a photo, and we'll tell you what's possible.

Where do you work?

We're based in Enfield, Co. Meath, and we work right across Leinster. Tell us where the job is when you get in touch.
